“Wessex Cancer Support supported me through some of the hardest days of my life so it only seemed right that I supported them on one of my happiest days! Our guests loved the pin badges and they helped make our day more meaningful.” Samantha, a former client.

Donate by leaving a gift in your will
+For many people, leaving a gift to a charity in their Will is a natural extension of the support they have shown during their lifetime. Every gift, however large or small, makes a huge difference. Even 1% (so those closest to you inherit 99%) or a modest sum of money will leave a lasting legacy.
If the time is ever right for you to remember a charity in your will, please consider Wessex Cancer Support.
We’ve put together a free Legacy Guide to help you understand the process of leaving a gift in your will to Wessex Cancer Support and we partner with Octopus Legacy, one of the fastest growing online will writers in the UK, to offer a free will-writing service for our supporters.
Donate with grants from Trusts and Foundations
+Grants from charitable trusts and foundations are essential in helping us to deliver our vital support services to local people affected by cancer. We proactively apply to local and national trusts, to help fund our day-to-day services, core costs and to launch new projects.
We are also keen to hear from individuals who are trustees of a charitable trust, or who know someone who sits on a board of trustees, and may be able to give us a warm introduction to the trust.

Donate with Gift Aid and the government will add 25% to your donation, and it won’t cost you an extra penny!
What is Gift Aid?
Gift Aid is a tax relief for charities in the UK to increase donations – at no extra cost to the donor. When a charity receives a donation from a UK taxpayer, the organisation is entitled to claim an extra 25% paid on that donation.
A £10 donation processed with Gift Aid becomes a £12.50 donation. Donate here and give your donation a boost with Gift Aid!
What do donors need to do?
Donors need to tick the box on the Gift Aid declaration form and provide some basic personal details and the charity can claim 25p for every £1 given.
Once a donor has given their permission by filling in the Gift Aid declaration form, there is no need for them to do anything else.
