Swim For Hope 2021
Ever thought about swimming The Solent? Well, here’s your chance…
Organised by Wessex Cancer Trust’s Isle of Wight Cancer Wellbeing Centre, Swim for Hope is a 1.3-mile cross-Solent swim, starting at Hurst Point in Hampshire and finishing at Colwell Bay on the Isle of Wight.
The swim will take place on Saturday, September 4th at around 3pm (tide and weather depending) to raise money for our Isle of Wight services.
These services support thousands of Islanders affected by cancer every year. Practical and emotional support is provided by the Isle of Wight’s wellbeing centre in Newport, while our two free minibus services transport Island patients to their hospital appointments in both Southampton and Portsmouth. Each bus provides more than 10,000 passenger journeys for cancer patients annually.
If you are a keen swimmer and a cancer survivor, we would particularly welcome your participation in this event.
Before signing up, please read our Solent Swim – Conditions of Entry
