Wessex Cancer Support Centres offer a welcoming space to seek practical and emotional support at a time when you may need it the most. Our dedicated team is committed to offering free support, away from a clinical environment.

All of the support services and complementary therapies we offer here at Wessex Cancer Support have your needs at heart. Whether you’re looking for a calming therapy to help you relax and sleep better, emotional support to help you process what you’re going through, practical advice, or simply a friendly face and a listening ear, we’re here for individuals impacted by cancer.

We work with people aged 18 and over living with and beyond their cancer but are also here for loved ones, family members and carers who are impacted by cancer. You don’t need a doctor’s referral to get started although we do accept referrals from healthcare professionals, too.

We understand that taking the first steps to reach out may feel daunting but when you are ready, please know you are welcome to contact us directly by dropping in, calling or emailing your local support centre to find out more. We are here to listen and support.

Support your local
cancer centre

Your support means our cancer support centres are there for local clients, providing free, personalised wellbeing support to them and their loved ones. £5 could help with providing clients refreshments, £45 could help fund a support session, and £130 could help fund a centre for a day.

Our running costs for our cancer support centres are 100% generously funded by the donations we receive. Every penny you donate makes a huge difference. From everyone at Wessex Cancer Support, thank you.
