Wessex Wish List

Thanks to the amazing support of Isle of Wight residents, businesses and organisations we are nearing the finish line in our £100,000 Building For The Future appeal to create a new cancer centre for the IW.

Having raised the £85,000 needed to extend and refurbish the centre, we now need your help to purchase the equipment and furnishings to kit it out.

We hope to make the new centre a calm, welcoming and functional hub for the Isle of Wight community.

By sponsoring an item on our wish list, you will be helping us support Islanders affected by cancer for many years to come while leaving a lasting mark of your involvement in our Building for the Future appeal.

Donations of £500 or more will also entitle you or your business to a named brick to be displayed in our new centre.

Every donation, however large or small, will help us to continue supporting Islanders when they need it most. Thank you for your support.

Wish List

We need your help to raise a massive £100,000 for a new Cancer Wellbeing Centre on the Isle of Wight.

Through our 'Building for the Future' appeal, we hope to be able to create a warm and welcoming new community hub for the 6,000 people living with cancer on the Island.

Plans for the new centre include the creation of three new treatment rooms, a quiet befriending area, a community area for groups to meet, as well as more flexible space to host new classes and activities.

With such a huge target to reach, we will be needing plenty of support and the options to get involved are endless.

Throughout the year we will be organising a whole host of fundraisers for you to take part in, or why not organise your own? Whether it's a cake sale, physical challenge or an event put on at your work, school or among friends, every penny you raise will help our cause.

A diagnosis is devastating to a person, but also their family and friends. Our Cancer Wellbeing Centre in Newport is a place where anyone can go and get some help. Whether that's advice on how to pay the bills, professional counselling, or relaxing therapies, there is a listening ear for anyone who needs it. We hope the community will come out and support the appeal to help us create a wonderful new space for people affected by cancer.
