Freshwater is more than a charity shop, it’s a community. Located at Moa Place, adjacent to West Wight Sports Centre, the shop is a community hub, popular with island residents and holiday-makers.
While it’s cosy, we maximise every inch of the floor space to offer a wide range of clothing for men and women, bric-a-brac, household items, gifts, games, toys and more.

Shop with Wessex Cancer Support
By shopping with Wessex Cancer Support, you are directly helping us be there for local people affected by cancer.
Through your purchases and donations, you are enabling our shops to help fund our cancer support centres, which provide a range of services and support to help people through their cancer journey, including professional counselling, complementary therapies, activities, support groups and courses.
We have a centre in Newport, which supports anyone in our community impacted by cancer.
Centres are also located in Bournemouth, Hythe and Chandler’s Ford, and we offer online services for all our clients.

Volunteering at our Freshwater charity store
Our shops offer a fun and social environment, where you will meet lots of new people and be an integral part of your local community. We are always looking for friendly and active volunteers to join us. Roles vary, from serving customers and operating the till to helping to sort and prepare goods for sale.
