Walk the Test Way Returns for 2026

Local walkers, families and community groups come lace up your boots and take part in this year’s Walk the Test Way, organised by the Rotary Club of Romsey Test. This is a charity walking event that combines countryside adventure with fundraising for a cause close to your heart. Walk the Test Way will take place this year on Sunday 27th September 2026, bringing together participants of all ages and abilities for a day on the beautiful Hampshire landscape while raising money for charity.

Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just enjoy a gentle stroll, there’s a distance to suit you. Walkers can choose from five routes, ranging from a refreshing 5-mile stretch to a challenge-worthy 25½-mile trek each following sections of the picturesque Test Way footpath.

Participants are transported by private coach to their chosen starting point, and all finish at Romsey’s Memorial Park where a warm welcome and commemorative medal await.

Dogs on short leads are welcome too, making this a perfect day out for families and pets alike.
