Soar over the South Downs or Jurassic Coast!

If you’re looking for a new experience, then take to the skies with our paragliding challenge.

Enjoy a 20 minute tandem flight with a qualified instructor over the beautiful South Downs or stunning Jurassic Coast and raise money to help local people affected by cancer. No training is required, the Albatross Paragliding team will give you all the information you need on the day, you just need to bring a sense of adventure! There will be the option to film your flight and purchase the fully edited footage from us for only £30!

Lois took part in Paragliding 2024 in April for her 75th birthday! She thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and said:

“I started doing sponsored charity events when I turned 60.  Wondering what to do for my 75th, I noticed Wessex Cancer Support’s paragliding challenge.  I’d been involved with the charity many years ago, so it seemed ideal.  Like many of us, I’ve known lots of people whose lives have been affected by cancer, so I knew anything I could do would be worthwhile.  So, this year, I plucked up my courage and leapt into the unknown!  It was exhilarating and the most fun I’ve had in a long time.  The Albatross Paragliding team were so encouraging, explained everything, and put me at ease.  You’re never too old to take on a new challenge.” 

Date: Fine weather days* in 2024
Time: Time slots will be allocated by Albatross Paragliding
Location: Various locations in Hampshire and Dorset, including the beautiful South Downs and the stunning Jurassic Coast
Registration fee: £50
Minimum sponsorship: £250

*Albatross Paragliding deem which days are suitable for flying, as the conditions have to be safe.
