Take to the skies in the Isle of Wight’s first charity paragliding challenge!

Take part in our tandem paragliding experience and enjoy amazing views of the Isle of Wight whilst raising funds to help provide free emotional support to local people living with cancer.

We have 16 exclusive spaces on this challenge over two dates, Thursday 29th and Friday 30th May 2025. No training is required, the IOW Paragliding Team will give you all the information you need on the day!

Lois Marshall celebrated her 75th birthday with a tandem paraglide for Wessex Cancer Support;
“I started doing sponsored charity events when I turned 60. Wondering what to do for my 75th, I noticed the charity’s paragliding challenge. Like many of us, I’ve known lots of people who lives have been affected by cancer, so I thought I’d pluck up my courage and take it on! It was absolutely brilliant and I loved every minute. You’re never too old to take on a new challenge.”

Minimum fundraising target: £400

If you raise £500 by April 29th you will also receive your own Wessex Cancer Support Paragliding T-shirt to wear on the day and have as a keepsake.
