Please read our event Terms and Conditions and Frequently Asked Questions below, before booking:Â
Q: Can I bring food and drink? Â
A: Yes, you’re welcome to bring food and drink but there will also be a choice of delicious food and drink outlets on site. Cash and card payments will be accepted. Each trader will be donating a percentage of their takings to Wessex Cancer Support. Â
Q: What do I need to bring? Â
A: Please don’t forget to bring your proof of purchase. We will not be able to allow access without it. We also recommend bringing blankets and hot water bottles for the ultimate cosy cinema experience! Â
Q: How do you hear the film? Â
A: You will be able to hear the film through your in-car stereo. On arrival, you will receive an FM frequency so you can tune in and hear the movie through your car’s speakers.  Â
Q: Will I be allocated a specific parking space? Â
A: Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and will be dependent on the size of your vehicle (larger cars will be asked to go towards the back – but don’t worry, you’ll have no problem seeing the big screen wherever you’re positioned! ). Gates will open 45 minutes before each screening and close 10 minutes before the film starts.  Â
Q: What happens when we arrive? Â
A: After presenting your ticket you will be asked to wait in the holding area. You will be invited to queue in a particular line depending on the size of your vehicle. Each line will then be invited to follow directions to their allocated space. Vehicles will be positioned depending on size to provide an optimal viewing position for all.  Â
Q: What happens if it rains? Â
A: The event will go ahead in most weathers, as long as there is no risk to the audience. If a screening has to be cancelled, we will email all ticket holders and make an announcement on our Facebook page @wessexcancer.  Â
Q: How big is the screen and will we be able to see the picture ok in daylight? Â
A: The LED screen is 9 metres wide and 5 metres high and will be elevated into position by a crane to ensure optimal viewing from all angles. Because the screen is LED and not projected the picture will be of high quality at all times of the day and night.  Â
Q: Are dogs allowed? Â
A: Well-behaved dogs are permitted but you may be asked to leave if your pet disturbs others.  Â
Q: Are there toilet facilities? Â
A: Yes, there are multiple toilets at the entrance to Robin Hill.Â
Q: Can I change my booking? Â
A: Unfortunately, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Changes cannot be made once a booking is confirmed. Refunds will only be given in the event we have to cancel or change a showing because of weather, licensing or a technical issue. Â
Q: Will there be subtitles/audio description? Â
A: No Â
Q: Can children come to the evening showings? Â
A: Children are welcome but film certifications must be adhered to so please ensure your child is a suitable age for the film you’re attending.  Â
Q: Can you watch the film outside your car? Â
A: No, the films must be watched from the comfort of your car.  Â
Q: I’ve pre-booked, how do I get my tickets? Â
A: Your receipt will be e-mailed to you immediately after booking. Â
