Wessex Cancer Support is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Creek as its new Chief Executive Officer, bringing extensive leadership experience from across healthcare, charity governance and organisational transformation.
Ian joins the charity at a significant time as demand for cancer support services continues to grow across the region, and at the start of a year when the charity will celebrate its 45th anniversary.

His background also includes senior commercial and marketing roles, giving him a strong understanding of sustainable growth, partnership working and organisational resilience.
In his new role, Ian will work closely with the management team and Trustees to strengthen Wessex Cancer Support’s reach, ensure strong governance and support the charity’s mission to improve quality of life for people affected by cancer.
Commenting on his appointment, Ian said:
“I am honoured to take on the role of CEO at Wessex Cancer Support. The charity plays a vital role for people and families facing cancer and I really look forward to supporting its work and future ambitions.”
