When I need support, I know where to go

Rose says Wessex Cancer Support helped her rebuild her life after being diagnosed with bowel cancer:

I had Uni assignments to finish. I felt lost and isolated. Then, I met a wonderful team at the Waterside cancer support centre who supported and encouraged me. They’re so caring and kind – the most wonderful people I’ve ever met.

Without their support, my children wouldn’t have got their Mum back

The whole team shows genuine compassion and kindness, and I always leave with the most wonderful feeling. Someone is always there with a cup of tea and a biscuit. When I need support, I know where to go, and now I feel ready now to carry on with my life.
