Over 200 people attended our Christmas concert at St Peter’s Church in Titchfield on Monday 9th December, which featured an array of musical talent from across the south.
Actor Sarah Parish, broadcaster Sam Fraser and HM Lord-Lieutenant Nigel Atkinson were among the special guests.
“It was such a wonderful evening and we are so thankful to everyone involved,” said Rachel Billsberry-Grass, our CEO.
“The performers were outstanding and we are really grateful to them for giving up their time to support us.
“I’d like to say a special thanks to Sarah and Sam for their readings and also to Jenny, our client, who shared her story about how we’ve supported her.
“It was so lovely to all come together – thanks to everyone who came along for what was a very special night.”
The evening began with music from Martin Murphy, before a piper procession with Roger Huth.
Wessex Cancer Support’s Sing for Life choir, Eastleigh’s Parkewood School of Dance, The Advent Trio and Cabin Crew barbershop quartet were among the groups to perform.
They were joined by soloists Casey Watson and Maria-Brigid Ryan, as well as pianist Chris Milburn.
The Rev Penny Thatcher welcomed the guests and gave a blessing.
