Combining the benefits of peer support and counselling, this group offers an opportunity for you to connect with others facing similar challenges and benefit from the comfort, support and encouragement this can bring. Whether you are living with cancer, supporting a loved one with cancer, or experiencing grief, you are very welcome. This session is facilitated by a fully qualified and registered counsellor who is experienced in supporting groups of people through challenging times. Being welcomed into this group can be really beneficial in facing whatever your tomorrow brings.

What we offer

You may be experiencing doubt, anxiety or have a lot of questions, which can be an isolating experience. Friends and family often want to help and may have a lot of sympathy for how challenging life is right now, but you may feel a lot of pressure to keep life as ‘normal’ as possible or to remain positive for others. This support group is a kind place where you can listen to others who have walked or are walking a similar path and be yourself throughout without any pressure.

Our online support group is a non-judgemental place where you can get information that’s practical, constructive, and valuable. It’s normal to feel nervous about attending a group like this, which we completely understand. Therefore, you are very welcome to join without sharing anything about yourself until you are comfortable to do so.
