You will be able to help your patients to access non-clinical support from Wessex Cancer Trust in the following ways:

Direct Referral
Telephone or email one of our 6 Cancer Support Centres to make arrangements for your patient or their carer to visit the Centre, where they can access either the drop-in befriending service or make an appointment to use the counselling and/or complementary therapy services. In some circumstances, patients may be able to receive telephone counselling.

Self-Referral
Patients and carers can self-refer to our services.  They can contact us by telephone or email to arrange an appointment with a counsellor or a complementary therapist or they are very welcome to just drop-in any time the Centre is open.
