FAQs
What time does registration open?
10 am, or an hour before your race time.
What is the venue address?
Isle of Wight County Showground, 490 Newport Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight, PO31 8QU
Is there an age limit?
No, but all runners under 16 need to be supervised by a registered adult. One adult can accompany up to 4 children under 16.
Are there refreshments for sale at the venue?
Yes, there will be mobile catering vans at the event.
Are there toilets on-site?
Yes, there are toilets
Are guests allowed?
Your family and friends are more than welcome to come and watch on the day but please keep your distance from the course.
Are dogs allowed?
Well behaved dogs on leads are allowed on site but cannot run the course.
Is there car parking at the venue?
Yes, there will be plenty of parking on site. We’d be grateful if you could make a donation for parking. Our volunteers will be armed with collection buckets! Once parked, please head towards the registration tent to check-in.
Is there disabled parking?
There will be some disabled parking available at the front of the main car park. Please note, there will still be a short distance to walk to the site.
Is there a bag drop at the park?
You will be able to leave your bags in a designated secure area for £1
What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear. You WILL get covered in powdered paint, so please bring a change of clothes. Unfortunately, there are no shower facilities available on site. You may also want to bring sunglasses to protect your eyes.
Do I have to raise sponsorship? How much?
Your entry fee only covers the cost of your place. We’d like you to raise as much as you can and have set a target of £100 per person as something to aim for. If you raise £50 by June 10th, you will become a Star Fundraiser and receive a free event t-shirt to wear on the day.
How do I get a T-shirt?
If you miss the Star Fundraiser deadline on June 10th – (see info above), there will be a limited number available to buy at the T-shirt shop, in the event village on the day (£12 adults, £8 children).
Can I pay and register on the day?
There may be a limited number of places available on the day but this will be confirmed nearer the time.
Do I receive a medal?
Yes, every participant registered will receive a medal.
What are the different run wave times?

You choose your preferred race time when you purchase your tickets.
Is it wheelchair/pushchair friendly?
The course is uneven in places so care must be taken at all times. There is plenty of space on the route, so people with reduced mobility are welcome to complete the course, avoiding the bubble stations, colour stations or inflatables if they are unable to tackle them. Anyone with reduced mobility should be accompanied by a registered adult.
