Preparation and cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 8 bacon rashers, fried

  • 4 fresh, free range eggs

  • 1 tin baked beans

  • 4 slices toast

  • Ample amount of butter



  • Gently fry the bacon until cooked through

  • In the meantime, poach the egg in a saucepan of hot water for about 3-4 minutes

  • Heat up the baked beans on the hob, or in the microwave

  • Pop the toast in the toaster, and toast to your liking

  • Build the sandwich after spreading the toast with a generous helping of butter
