Welcome To Your Online Community

We’re still here for you, whenever you need us.

We hope you’ll find this a welcoming and friendly place to seek support and answers, and that most importantly it will be a community to be there with you during your cancer experience. This online community is for anyone impacted by a cancer diagnosis, whether you want to talk about the emotional or physical impact of a cancer diagnosis or treatment plan this is a safe place to do so. Have a look around and read some of the conversations our members are having.

If you wish to become a member free of charge, all you’ll need is an email address and to choose a username. Then you’ll be able to engage in existing conversations or start your own.

The majority of our community members have lived experience of either a personal cancer diagnosis or supporting a loved one through a diagnosis. Other members may include professionals, such as counsellors, therapists, nurses or wellbeing practitioners who work or volunteer for Wessex Cancer Trust. We want this online community to be a secure and supportive environment for all our members. So please remember that by using this site you are agreeing to follow our terms and conditions and Community Guidelines. This isn’t a 24-hour monitored crisis service and mustn’t be seen as an alternative to seeking medical help. If you’re concerned about an urgent issue, please don’t delay in contacting emergency or out-of-hours health services.

This site is moderated by a friendly team which is here to ensure that everyone has a positive experience within this community, therefore if you have any questions, please get in touch by email wct@wessexcancer.org.uk we aim to respond to any queries within 1-3 days.
