Stories And News Latest News Haloween Monster Dash is full of spook-tacular fun! Families came from far and wide to take on our Halloween Spook-taculor challenge which took place in Romsey. Over 400 people participated in the first ever Monster Dash, a 3km inflatable obstacle course, which took over Mountbatten School on Sunday, 29th October for a day of Halloween celebrations. Participants enjoyed a spooky exercise warm up from the fitness fairy follow by a course of six immense inflatables to bounce over, squeeze through and slide down. The Hill family from Farnham were the first to complete the course with Arlo, 9, who crossed the line first describing the course as ‘’epic.’’ His Mum, Ciara said ‘’It was really good fun and we will certainly be back next year.’’ Head of Development at Wessex Cancer Trust, Sofie Bennett said, ‘‘Our first Monster Dash has been a great success and we are so grateful to everyone involved. The day has been full of spooky fun and the costumes have just been incredible’’ ‘'There is a serious side to the event too. Families have been fundraising and we are pleased that the event has raised in excess of £9,000 which will support local families affected by cancer. Each year we help thousands of local people which without support of our events would simply not be possible.’’ The date for our Monster Dash will be announced very soon and registration will open in January 2018.
