Kilimanjaro Event co-ordinator

We’re looking for an event Co-ordinator to come and volunteer with our fundraising team. You’ll be helping with our 2018 Kilimanjaro event. Tasks will include event administration, promotion, recruitment and stewardship of all registered climbers. We think this is a great opportunity if you want to see what the world of event planning is like!

If you help the team reach their target of 21 climbers you will get a completely free space (worth £2000) to participate in the challenge and travel to Africa! (Saturday, 13 October - Tuesday, 23 October 2018).

Main focus of the role

  • Developing relationships with participants to ensure an excellent supporter journey that maximises lifetime value

  • Manage blog and social media updates to maximise participant registration and fundraising

  • Work with outside organisations and groups

  • Creativity in keeping participants motivated and excited

  • Work closely with event providers
