QuoStar
Founded in 2005, Quostar currently offers a wide range of strategic business and technical IT consulting services. Quostar COO James Stelfox says:
“As a company we wanted to support a local charity and for us Wessex Cancer Support was an obvious choice. Cancer is an awful disease which affects so many people at some point in their lifetime, so we’re very proud to support a charity which does so much fantastic work in the local community, providing support not only to those affected but their loved ones as well.
It’s been a pleasure to support Wessex Cancer Support over the past six years, from sponsoring their highly-enjoyable Air Show Hospitality Day to raising funds at our annual Christmas Charity Lunch, and we will continue to raise funds and raise awareness of the incredible job the Trust does.”
Hovertravel
Hovertravel provides the fastest Isle of Wight ferry route across the Solent and is the world’s only year-round passenger hovercraft service. Their passenger ferry service takes you directly to the shore at Southsea or Ryde in just 10 minutes. As well as providing discounted travel fares for NHS patients travelling to hospital appointments on the mainland, Hovertravel is an ongoing supporter of Wessex Cancer Support, donating a percentage of ticket sales on a regular basis.
“We appreciate that many of our passengers travel for fun, but we also understand many customers need to travel for medical reasons. Hovertravel is proud of our long relationship with Wessex Cancer Support and their essential link from our Southsea terminal to hospitals in Portsmouth. We have facilitated fundraising for the Daisy Bus and developed special fares for patients travelling with us. We strongly believe that supporting such community initiatives is an important part of being a responsible business and we look forward to helping Wessex Cancer Support in the future.”
Wildern School
Following a school vote, Wessex Cancer Support was unanimously chosen as the charity to support as it is a local charity and everyone at the school knows someone who has been affected by cancer, so it’s a cause close their hearts.
Pupils designed Wessex Cancer Support’s 2021 Christmas e-card and raised money for us in 2022 through their non-uniform days and Acts of Kindness campaign. The pupils voted to support Wessex Cancer Support for a second year through 2023/24
We’re small, creative and commercially minded with the ability to shape a partnership that suits you and your business.
