Sian Ullett

It's so easy to say "it won't happen to me" or "it won't happen to those I love."

Unfortunately, for many, that isn't the case, and to have the support available is so important.
For those, this comfort of knowledge, or a shoulder to cry on, an ear leant to listen to those words you can't say to anyone else, or just somewhere to go and help other like minded people is crucial to have.

I want to help keep this available to anyone who needs it, so this August I will be doing my first Triathlon distance in swimming, running and cycling to help raise funds.

I will be completing the Olympic distance of - 1.5km swim/40km bike/10km run.

I'd love to do it all in one day but thankfully I have the whole of August in case I don't quite get that far.

Please help me reach my goal so I can help keep the fantastic Wessex Cancer Trust going. Every penny is truly appreciated.

Many thanks, Sian.

Wessex Cancer Trust believe that there should be help and support available to everyone living with cancer, when and where they need it.

Community is at the heart of Wessex Cancer Trust – we put services in local communities so people affected by cancer have somewhere to go at a time when they most need support.

A diagnosis can have a huge impact on the entire family. That’s why we’re committed to providing free support to anyone affected by cancer for as long as they need us. Our six cancer support centres are safe places for people to receive the emotional, practical and physical support they need.

From coffee mornings, to craft groups and wellness classes, people come together to meet people who understand what they are going through. We’re proud that our centres are a safe community for anyone affected by cancer.
