Madison Bonthuys Mcclounan Most people know someone who has or has had cancer weather it is a family member or friend and that groups like these help support those with cancer and their families.
It is important that we remember the mental health is just as important as the physical health of the individual. Money raised can go to therapy sessions.
Wessex Cancer Trust believes that there should be help and support available to everyone living with cancer, when and where they need it. These aren’t always accessible due to distance or funding. Organisations like these can make them accessible but only with the funds of the public.
They have six cancer support centres, which cover Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and the IOW. Their centres have specialist counsellors to help deal with the emotional impact of cancer and complementary therapies to improve wellbeing, help with pain management and increase self-confidence.
This is why we have chosen to walk across hot coals.
We hope you can support us. Madison Bonthuys Mcclounan
