The challenge event will take place in the beautiful New Forest on Sunday 4th June 2017, coinciding with National Survivors Day.

Thanks to advances in cancer prevention, early detection & treatment, more people than ever before are surviving the disease and our Walk for Hope will be celebrating this achievement. However, until there's a day when everyone wins the battle, there is still much more to do. So I have decided to brush off my walking boots and show cancer who's boss!

Sadly my dog won't be joining me as I walk the 20 mile route around the beautiful countryside of the New Forest. Instead I will be joined by a group of lovely ladies I work with. plan for a peaceful day away from the wife, strolling 20 miles around the countryside has been shattered as I'm now spending it with even more nattering women! That's got to be worth a feet will ache and I'll have earache too! I just hope they're not expecting me to carry them round!

I am aiming to raise £250, which provides a full day of services at a local support centre. £25 could provide one yoga session to help improve well-being and pain management.
£50 could provide a free counselling session to help someone deal with the emotional impact of cancer
£100 could provide a play therapy session for a child affected by a cancer diagnosis.

So please dig deep and help me reach my target. Thanks so much for your support!
