John Neil

So 2017 is under way and i have decided to challenge myself this year and what better way to do it while raising money for charity. As many will know I'm a lazy bugger and a commitment fobe so for me to take on such a big challenge speaks volumes.

I am doing this to raise money for Wessex Cancer Trust, this is a great charity and even the smallest amount will go along way.

This challenge consists of climbing the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales all within 24 hours.

Ben Nevis stands at 1344m above sea level, Snowdon is 1085m & Scafell Pike 978m.

As always when raising money for charity i am relying on my friends and family to help me out. If you can contribute by any means it will go along way and i will appriciate it a lot.

Please see below for more information about the charity:

The Trust aims to help children, teenagers and adults in the Wessex area who are living with cancer and make their lives and those of their families better at a time most needed. Your kindness and support over the coming months will help them to continue to reach those most in need.

If you would like to learn more about Wessex Cancer Trust please take a look at their website (www.wessexcancer.org.uk).

Here’s just some of the ways you will make a difference;

• £25 could provide one yoga session to help improve well-being and pain management.
• £100 could provide a play therapy session for a child affected by a cancer diagnosis
• £450 could help to set up a new therapeutic support group
• £750 could provide a full month of counselling services at one of their centres

Please help in anyway you can - we all know someone who has been affected by cancer and in the time of need charities step in to do the small things that make the big difference. Feel good about yourself and donate you will not regret it!

Many Thanks,

John
