Lets face it, doing a 10 mile walk through the stunning New Forest is no real hardship. But on Sunday 4th June, the Ingram ladies will be taking part in the Wessex Cancer Trusts Walk for Hope.

This walk has been set up to celebrate that more people are now surviving cancer than ever before because of the advances made in cancer prevention, early detection and treatment. The battle is however not yet won, and all of us have personal experiences of loss, survival and supporting loved ones that we want to remember on 4th June.

My Mum and I kindly ask you to help us support this fantastic charity who run free support centres in Wiltshire, Wessex, Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight, where their clients are are welcomed by volunteer befrienders who are equipped to provide information, support and a listening ear. Teams of specialist counsellors are also there to help deal with the emotional impact of cancer and complementary therapists aim to improve well-being, help with pain management and increase self-confidence.

Not only is my incredible sister a Fundraising Manager for this charity and will be making sure this event goes off without a hitch, my beautiful Mum has started her modelling career in her retirement to be one of the faces of the event and will be walking with me on the day, any kind donations are for our joint entrance to the event.

Thank you
