Winchester Triathlon 2021
Take on the Winchester Triathlon in 2021 for Wessex Cancer Trust and support local families affected by cancer!
For 2021, we are excited to announce that Wessex Cancer Trust are the Lead Charity for this event and we have a number of free charity places.
Whether you’re a first timer or a GB triathlete there’s something for everyone in this challenge. Cycle, swim and run the Triathlon Course starting at Kings School, Winchester. Completion of the course will reward you with your very own finishers medal!
You’ll swim in an indoor pool with only 4 people per lane. You’ll get to swim with people of similar ability.
You’ll then take to a bike and cycle out of the historic medieval city into the wilds of Hampshire, for a quiet and rolling ride, taking in the lovely small village of Sparsholt on the way.
The run is slightly hilly with one long drag down out of the school and back up again. It’s a combination of running on footpaths and around the flat school playing fields. There’ll be lots of opportunities for your spectators to cheer you on!
There’s a choice of two adult distances and a children’s triathlon too:
~ Novice Triathlon – 200m Swim, 11kkm Bike and 2.5km Run
~ Sprint Triathlon – 400 Swim, 22km Bike and 5km Run
~ Children’s Triathlon – 100m Swim, 2km Bike and 1km Run
This event is deemed COVID – secure.
