Darren, from Sandown on the Isle of Wight is jumping to mark his 50th birthday and has a very personal reason for taking on the challenge:
“My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer four years ago and we used the Daisy Bus to get from the Red Jet to her hospital appointments every day for five weeks. It was a simple thing, but something that made our lives much easier at a very difficult time. In my community and circle of friends, more and more people are being diagnosed with cancer and we need Wessex Cancer Trust to be able to help them now and in the future. It’s my 50th birthday this year and the Skydive felt like a fantastic challenge to mark it, and it’s also a way for me to give something back to the charity who helped us so much.”
