Starting and finishing at Sparsholt College in Winchester, the 2024 edition is one of the hardest sportives in the county, and will combine the most challenging climbs that Hampshire has to offer. From Beacon Hill, Watership Down and Windmill Hill to name a few, there will be plenty of hills putting meaning behind the name! Enjoy beautiful woodland, stunning countryside, quaint villages and of course, amazing views from the tops of the climbs. But with those ups, must come downs – with over 6,400ft of climb on the 100 mile course, there is the same amount of descent too!
This event is a fully signed and marshalled course with feed stations and full mechanical support along the route, plus a medal, refreshments and chipped timing await those who finish! If the 100 mile route is a bit too much, why not have a go at the mid length route at 67 miles. With every push of your pedal, your fundraising is helping us provide emotional support and wellbeing services to local people affected by cancer.
“A well organised event through some great countryside. The aspects which stood out for me were the quality and friendliness of the marshals and the generosity of the food station. Great fun and we’ve already got it in the diary for next year.” Racecheck review 2023
