Chandler's Ford is in the borough of Eastleigh in Hampshire on the outskirts of Southampton, on junction 12 of the M3 less than 10 miles from the A34 and is easily commutable from Winchester.  Chandler’s Ford has been ranked top for its low crime rates and residents’ good health and high income. The town was named among the places where you are least likely to be burgled in the country by comparison site MoneySuper-Market, based on insurance claims.

Interesting facts: Sir Isaac Newton lived for a while at Cranbury Park. J. Mitchell, designer of the Spitfire, lived in a house in Winchester Road and so did Captain John Treasure Jones, Master of the Mauretania, Saxonia and Queen Mary.
