The King’s cancer diagnosis

Cancer is likely to affect most people at some point in their lives, but it can still be really hard to talk about, so we were pleased that The King chose to share his diagnosis publicly. There’s no right or wrong way to respond to a cancer diagnosis and we encourage open conversations about the impact it can have.

Because of The King’s announcement, we had the opportunity to raise awareness of our support on Wave 105 and ITV Meridian.

We’re here to support anyone in Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight dealing with the impact of cancer. We understand that everyone’s experience is individual and we help people cope in a way that best suits their needs.

Our clients come in person to our support centres or access online a completely personalised package of support so they aren’t alone through this very challenging experience. We think everyone should have free and local access to this level of support, however they’re affected by cancer.

We provide free, local and personalised support for anyone affected by cancer in Wessex.
