Christmas is coming…and where better to shop sustainably and support local people living with cancer than our shops? This year, we have so much to offer the eco-friendly shopper: our Christmas cards are plastic-free and printed on FSC approved sustainable card stock, as is our eco-friendly wrapping paper. Equally, our stores now only stock recyclable paper bags for your festive purchases. You’ll also find gorgeous gifts for your loved ones, and a fantastic array of homewares for your festive Christmas table!
With every great party comes an awesome outfit, and this season we’re asking you to join us in assembling an eco-conscious party ensemble from one of our shops, and posting your stylings on social media, saving money and promoting sustainable fashion, all whilst supporting local people living with cancer. By tagging us on social media using the hashtag #wctfinds, you can share your fantastic charity shop finds and raise awareness of the wonderful work of our shops.
We’d love as many people as possible to join in this online campaign – here’s a step-by-step guide of how to take part:
-Visit one of our shops and select a party outfit, or get a friend, family member, shop staff or yourself to choose one for you!
-Take a selfie (or get someone to take a full-length pic) to post on social media
-Add a short description of your outfit, including its total cost. Don’t forget to let us know if it’s designer or you make any noteworthy!
-Post the image along with the description on your social media accounts. Alternatively, you can send your pictures to marketing@wessexcancer.org.uk and we’ll do it for you
