Our Christmas and New Year arrangements for cancer support and our shops

Your cancer Support Centre timetable

Isle of Wight will close at 3pm on Tuesday 21st December and reopen at 10am on Tuesday 4th January

Waterside (Hythe) will close at 3pm on Tuesday 21st December and reopen at 10am on Tuesday 4th January

Chandler’s Ford will close on Wednesday 22nd December at 1pm and reopen at 10am on Tuesday 4th January

Bournemouth will close on Wednesday 22nd December at 3pm and reopen at 10am on Tuesday 4th January.

You’re very welcome to send an email to your local Support Centre and someone will reply to you when we reopen. As it stands, you can currently access support remotely and in person with an appointment. We’re evolving our services in line with Government advice on Covid-19 so we can give you as much flexibility as possible. Please keep checking our website or contact your local support centre from 4th January for the latest updates.

Support for you during Christmas and New Year

We know that it can be a particularly tough time if you’re living with cancer.

There are lots of helpful resources on our website and please do follow our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter posts while our Support Centres are closed. We’ve also got a friendly Facebook Support Group which is a safe and supportive online space for anyone affected by cancer.

Your local shops

Christmas Eve – all of our shops are open between 9.30am and 2pm

Christmas Day and Boxing Day – all closed

Wednesday 29th to Friday 31st December – all open between 10am and 3pm

Tuesday 4th January – all open between 9.30am and 4.30pm except Weeke (Winchester) which will be open until 5pm.

Please do not leave your donations outside our shops while they are closed as there will be nobody there to accept them.

All of us at Wessex Cancer Support send our best wishes for a Happy Christmas.
