Flour power! Join Cakes4Cancer this March and raise dough to support local people living with cancer

If baking takes your (fondant) fancy, we’d love you to host a Cakes4Cancer event this March to raise dough to support local people living with cancer.

Rolling out across Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight between 1st and 31st March, Cakes4Cancer is a really simple way to come together with friends, family or colleagues – either in person or virtually, and ‘bake’ a difference by asking for a donation in return for a cuppa and cake.

We’re passionate about community at Wessex Cancer Trust and believe everyone living with cancer should be able to get free and local emotional support when they need it. Cakes4Cancer is all about coming together to enjoy something delicious for a great cause. Your event can be as big or small as you want, in person or virtually. You could host a coffee morning at work, invite your friends to an afternoon tea or host a virtual bake-along. Whether it’s faked or baked, every cake you sell could help change someone’s life for the better.

We’ve put together a free kit containing everything you need to host your own event, including lots of event ideas, cake toppers, posters, bunting, recipe cards and a gift aid form. It really is a piece of cake to raise money to support local people living with cancer – so please sign up today!
