We are lucky to have support from the community but are always keen to grow and expand this in order to support more people affected by cancer.
Clubs, groups and societies
Are you this year’s Society Captain? If so, why not nominate Wessex Cancer Support as your charity of the year? We can supply you with fundraising materials such as posters, banners and collection boxes, to help you publicise your fundraising.
There are lots of different ways to fundraise throughout the year including:
- Holding a golf day or dinner in aid of the charity
- Adding a bucket collection to one of your existing events
- Getting involved in our Move it May campaign
Collection boxes
Do you have a shop or business which would be happy to have a collection box? Or are you looking to volunteer for a few hours every few weeks? We are looking for new collection box sites and volunteers to collect them and help spread awareness about the work of Wessex Cancer Support.
Hold your own event
Supporting us doesn’t have to fit in one of the above categories, and if you’re interested in hosting your own event or doing your own thing, then let us know. We can provide support, fundraising ideas and other bits and pieces to make your event as successful as it can be!
