We'll be raising spirits as well as vital funds for local people living with cancer at our 3km Halloween-themed Monster Dash at North Walls Recreation Ground, Winchester, on Sunday 28th October.

In this fiendish family fun-filled fundraiser, participants will bounce, squeeze, slip and slide their way along the spooky course featuring ten giant inflatables including Biff Bash, Twisty Tunnels and The Transformer, in their most spectacular Halloween costumes.

Rachel Coombs, Event Manager at Wessex Cancer Trust, said:

Over 400 people swooped in for our 2017 Monster Dash, and we'd love to see even more ghoulish girls and ghastly guys get into the spirit of Halloween this year to raise as much money as possible to help local families living with cancer. There'll also be music, food and Halloween-themed activities after the race, so our brave finishers will be able to rest their bones and enjoy some well-earned treats.

Entry to the course is £12 for children, £19 for adults and £49 for a family of four, with a sponsorship target of £50. Participants will receive a fundraising pack and support to help them reach their fundraising goals. There'll be a spooky medal for everyone who finishes the course, and prizes for the most spectacular fancy dress.

All of the money raised will be used to provide practical and emotional support to people living with cancer in Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight. The event is being sponsored by Rathbone Investment Management in Southgate Street, Winchester.
