Unique body and mind fitness convention, I Am Fitness, comes to Bournemouth's Bay View and Ocean View hotels on Sunday 3rd May, with £1 from every ticket sold donated to Wessex Cancer Trust.

The convention runs from 8am to 6pm and costs £15. Participants can enjoy high energy classes like Boogie Bounce and Clubbercise, holistic sessions including Yoga and Pilates, self-defence workshops, wellness lectures and motivational seminars. There will also be wheelchair boxing displays with an opportunity to glove up and take part.

I Am Fitness works with a range of fitness providers across a multitude of sports as well as psychologists, mental health champions and motivational speakers to bring its unique body and mind fitness conventions to Dorset.

Catherine Fowler, co-founder of I Am Fitness says she is proud to be using her skills to raise money for Wessex Cancer Trust after losing her mother to the disease when she was 16:

It's my wish to encourage and educate people when it comes to exercise, health and mental fitness and believe there is something for everyone at this event. Being able to raise money for local families living with cancer at the same time will make it even more special.

The event is sponsored by Believe and Achieve Activewear which will be selling its funky fitness clothes on the day.
