A 16-strong team of walkers from Southampton engineering firm DA Benham Ltd tackled 25 miles of Dorset's Jurassic coast in 30 degree heat to raise £3,055 to help local people living with cancer.

Following its successful Three Peaks challenge in 2017, the team completed the coastal walk challenge in 12 hours, travelling between Tyneham and Osmington Mills and taking in Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door along the way.

Kevin Oborn, an Industrial Engineer who walked with his wife, Karen, said:

Many of us know someone who has been affected by cancer or have had cancer ourselves, so doing this challenge for a local charity made it all the more worthwhile. Having set off from Lulworth Cove at 7.45am, we arrived back 12 hours later feeling shattered but proud of what we had achieved.

All of the money raised will be used to provide practical and emotional support to people living with cancer in Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight.
