Stories And News Latest News Drivers needed to keep the wheels going round on our Daisy Bus We're looking for minibus drivers who are passionate about helping cancer patients get to their hospital appointments at the QA Hospital in Portsmouth. We're looking for both paid and volunteer drivers who may be able to support the service at short notice. Pick up points are from the hovercraft in Southsea and the QA Hospital every week day. The first collection is at 10.30am and the shift finishes at 3pm. Our Daisy Bus provides over 5,000 passenger journeys each year free-of-charge and is a lifeline for Isle of Wight and Channel Island residents who need to travel to the mainland for their treatment. Passengers say that the Daisy Bus, "provides a first-class service, is always on-time and I've never missed an appointment. Thank you to the drivers for their unfailing courtesy," and that, "it is literally an enabler for me. I don't think I could have faced commuting without it."
