Will you be a Wessex hero this September for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month?

We have designed an exciting fundraising competition – Zero to Hero - to support the vital work that we do here at our centres with children and young people affected by cancer.

The challenge itself very simple; Starting out with your duck, on 1st September you have one month to head out and carry out a series of trades to obtain an item of higher value each time. You will then sell/raffle/auction your final item and all the money you raise will go towards providing our specialist children’s services.

You can either plan a fundraising initiative as a team and compete against other teams within your company/club/school/college to see who can raise the most for Wessex Cancer Trust, or you could encourage your family, friends to take part or simply join in as an individual– a hero comes in many shapes and sizes!

All funds raised through our Zero to Hero Challenge will go towards supporting our Children's Support Services.
Cancer is hard to deal with at any age, but for children and young people, it can be particularly challenging. Counselling can provide an opportunity for them to talk about. Our specialist support services ensure local children get the support and help they need.

You can help support children and young adults like Lewis.

Once you have registered, you will receive your rubber duck, a fundraising pack and a letter of authorisation. You are then ready to go out and start your journey to Hero status!

It's free to take part. Your contribution will make a huge difference to children and young adults in our local community.
